MAME CHD 180 New Organizzation in the site !

Hi guys i ' m sorry i don't speak French.So maybe i did not understand the new organizzation about CHD files!

I have notice that many CHD file for mame 180 ( for example golden tee fore 2005 or california speed vs. 1.08 ), on Planetemu are no more available.

maybe i can find them in another section of the site? or there is another way to take them ?

we have lost them?

And for the other one, I think it should be in the same archive as 2.1a, as CHDs use now merged sets on our website: http://www.planetemu.net/rom/mame-chds/calspeed-2

CLIFF HANGER set 2 and set 3 are in another archive?

Considering the Cliff Hanger (set 1) archive is 13.23 Go, I guess all alternate/clone CHDs are in the same archive.

On CHD archive vs 180 for now is only available cliff hanger SET 1 , so it is not possible to audit the set 2 or 3 on mame .

maybe they was deleted from the server?

It's because the 3 CHD files are the same (cf MAME DAT):

You have to put the CHD file in a directory named cliffhgr that's all. MAME will check this one with your clone set ROM.

I frequent planetemu for a very long time but i am not very able to use MAMA !

can you explane the step one by one ?

For example I have only two californiaspeed roms working instead of three
when i try to audit the version 1.0r8 Mar 10 1998 i got this message :

calspeeda : cs_10r8a - NOT FOUND

But the other two are working : what i have missed ??

In the past on the chd archive there were all the three version of the rom!

"It doesn't work" isn't really helpful. Which error does it exactly report?

I will try to explain the problem much better.....

Nagano Winter Olimpics 98

i got the file nagano 98
than i got the chd file nagano98.chd into the folder nagano98
i put them into the rom folder
i audit the file and it works
BUT
with Hyper Olimpic in Nagano
i got the file naganoj
i put this file in the roms folder
i audit the game but the mame tell me 720jaa01 - NOT FOUND when i try to run the game
give me error because can't find the 720jaa01.chd fatal error the require files are missing the machine cannot be run.

Ok thanks for the report !

I understand there is a problem because the file 720jaa01.chd is present in the folder nagano98 (merged set) but not present in the download page: https://www.planetemu.net/rom/mame-chds/nagano98-2

I report the bug to Dinofly to resolve this issue.

I am very happy that this problem will be fix thanks to my help ! ; ))
i am usually to frequent this site for a very long time !

PS : How it works the new Snes9x v1.54.1 EMULATOR? is it cool?

PS2 i have a doubt about a BUD in the roma Dungeons and Dragon Tower of Doom !

Who and where i can ask?

However we may have to go back to split sets to be more comprehensive.
