emulation et niveau actuel

ça fait pas mal de temps que je me pose la question...
Quel est maintenant mon niveau actuel à propos de l'emulation?
Je ne sais pas je me donne une semaine pour y répondre en me confrontant aux meilleurs newsmakers du net.
Je ne ferais sans doute pas le poids mais je veux savoir ce que je vaux et si ce que je pense de moi est vrai ou faux.
Je ne demande rien je me teste

Aaron Giles updated the TMS34010, TMS32010, ADSP2100 CPU cores with bugfixes and added emulation for ADSP2101 and DSP32C, added sound to Hard Drivin' and got Race Drivin', Steel Talons and Hard Drivin's Airborne mostly working. Paul Priest submitted a driver for Nostradamus, it's fully working except sound is not yet emulated

Le site officiel a reçu une seconde mise à jour aujourd'hui!!!

2002-10-05: Paul Priest added Magical Cat Adventure to the Nostradamus driver, and R. Belmont added music and sound emulation to both of them. Additionally, the foreground layer in the Jaleco Mega System 32 driver was completely fixed two days ago but the screenshots were from an earlier version of the driver. Ryuusei Janshi Kirara Star was also added to the Jaleco Mega System 32 driver but it crashes fairly quickly in the game.

mupen64 0.0.90 pour windows et linux a été réalisé. MUPEN64 est un emulateur N64 fonctionnant sur plusieurs OS.
Voici ce que dit son auteur

After a huge amount of work and with the help of many people here's the 0.0.90 version that i consider a huge step in mupen64 developpement. It features a major improvememnent in compatibility even if these improvememnts only work in pure interpreter currently. Many parts of the core have been totally rewritten since last release (the list is included in the archive). The core has also been modified to work on big endian machines (without slowdown or any drawbacks for x86 users). So you can expect to see a MacOSX release very soon. Another great improvemement for final user is the new windows gui designed by ShadowPri (i will probably program a similar gui for the linux binary later) . I would also like to thanks DavFR for designing a great debugger for the linux developpement. I will put the source code on emutalk as usual tomorrow. What else to say ? Have fun with it

La page WIP de cet émulateur Arcade en Java a été mise à jour avec quelques screenshots d'un nouveau jeu en 3D supporté.


2002-10-06: Erik Duijs has been playing a bit with Java3D recently. The framerate is very good (about the same than in the 'normal' tiny applet used for CottAGE). What is more, you can press Alt-Enter and it turns to full-screen! I did not remember seeing this 3D feature in any other arcade emulator but this could be nice to add it to CottAGE in the future.

-PSX Memtool 1.16b

Unclieclive a réalisé une nouvelle version de PSXMemTool qui est un outil de carte mémoire pour sauvegarder vos parties et reccords sur un jeu.
Voici les nouveautés de cette version commenté par l'auteur.

Now you can open Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX PC saves and save them as PSX format (American only at the moment) and vice-versa. Thanks to blackwind for sending me some saves to convert and doing some testing for me

Changed the Card Manager so that each Memory Card is on a separate tab.

Allowed the ability to add comments for each Saved Game. Go to the Properties page (double-click the Saved Game or use menu option 'Properties' to show this. Note that comments will only be saved in Memory Card files that are DexDrive (*.gme) ones.

I have moved the Search tab onto the Change Finder tab, it should have been there from the start since it searches for values on the Watch List mainly.

Also the About/Help tab has been rearranged a bit.

The Rename function been changed slightly so that if you had, for example, a FF8 Japanese and FF8 American save on the same Memory Card, it would show you both in the renamed file's filename.

Finally PSX Memory Card file types are now associated with PSXMemTool, just double-click your Memory Card file in Explorer and it will open in PSXMemTool, also if you double-click a single game save, it will open PSXMemTool and automatically import it.
