I am remaking FF1 sprites!

I am remaking FF1 sprites. Anyone who want`s to participate and help, so one day we may homebreed the whole game in HD version. If you want to see some sprites, please email me or just let me know. I`ve posted the article in ubuntu forums. Here is the link:

You can see my first atempts. And some of the 90% complete sprites. It`s not for the monye - it`s for the greatest beat`em`up game ever!

If you tell me how to insert images here, I`ll post it too. I`ve tried but it only shows http:// form no browsing from my HDD...

The URL qnd/or IMG tag does not work ? [ URL="http://url" ]YourTextHere[ /URL ] and [ IMG ]http://url[ /I?G ] (without the extra spaces). At least, it should if your pictures are uploaded on imageshack.us for example.

After a second lecture of your post, I understand that you want to upload picture via Planetemu, right ? It seems not to be possible (I may be wrong). Use imageshack instead ^^

Something is wrong in your use of [ IMG ]
You must use the picture extensions .jpg .png etc.

Anyway : this does not really matter here because we know your pictures are located at the URL you've just mentioned : http://heatblazer.multiply.com/photo..._Final_Fight#1

And I must say, it's pretty nice. Keep up the good work ^^ Note that, when reading the "FF1" title, I thought that you were modifying Final Fantasy sprites

So you`ve seen the progress. Do you know somebody who would participate? Can we remodel all sprites and make a homebrew FF1?

Making a "homebrew" FF by reinserting new sprites is kind of difficult and need some strong ROMhacking skills. I guess the sprites are compressed in the FF ROM, meaning you need some skilled programmer. Besides, from what I see, your new character is 16 to 25 times larger than th original one ! Just imagine how much space it takes for ALL the sprites to ne inserted in the ROM...

Now, you may want to restart the game from "scratch" and, of course, I guess it's possible to make a new FF game (similar projects exist for Streets of Rage like Streets of Rage Remake with new sprites but no improved ones like yours, or rather Streets of Rage Evolution). But, in any case, you'll need that special person to help you. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of skill :/

Thanx for the cheering, friend. I know about the ROM hacking skills. And I know about the size of the images (I keep the original sizes ). That`s why I hope that I`ll find some guys who want to participate in that event. It`s great to know that some guys like you are interested. It means a lot to me, thanx.
